Words and connection data
Words are encrypted on the device and relayed by the connection service; the app creates no permanent chat archive. Room records are removed from memory when the room closes. IP addresses are processed for connections, with short-lived attempt records for abuse prevention. This does not guarantee forensic erasure of device memory.
Outside the app
A copied invitation code may remain on the system clipboard. Screen capture protection is applied on supported devices; it cannot fully prevent external cameras or other recording methods. Pencil and nudge sounds play on the device; the microphone is not recorded. If you email us, your address and message are processed by the email service to respond to your request. Do not include chat content or unnecessary sensitive information.
Blocks and safety reports
A random safety key is stored on your device so blocks work across sessions. The server uses its hash; no phone number or contacts are requested. Block records and sanctioned identities are kept until removed. Reports contain both safety IDs, the time, reason and optional note, and are deleted after 90 days. Chat text is not automatically attached. Reinstallation or another device may bypass a block.
Ads and notebook credits
Optional rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google may process device, connection, ad interaction and diagnostic data. Manage your choices under Ad privacy. Chat text is not sent to the advertising service. Your balance is stored on the server with your safety identity. Rewards use a one-time random verification code and a transaction record. Credits are not money and cannot be transferred; recovery after reinstallation or on another device is not guaranteed.
Controller and processing details
The server is hosted in Türkiye through HostingDunyam. Support email uses Google Gmail; advertising and consent use Google AdMob/UMP. Providers may process data in other countries depending on their systems. Chat content is not sent to advertising providers. Google may process advertising identifiers where available and permitted, IP addresses, device information, app interactions and diagnostics. On iOS, access to the advertising identifier for tracking requires your permission through Apple’s system prompt; if permission is not granted, that identifier is not accessed. Location permission is not requested; IP may reveal approximate location.
Room content is not written to disk. IP rate-limit entries are cleared after approximately one minute. Web access logging is disabled; technical error logs rotate daily with 14 old logs retained. Credit balances and reward transaction records have no automatic expiry and are retained for balance continuity, duplicate-reward prevention and resolving requests. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and, where necessary, protect legal rights; no automatic deletion period is applied. Deletion requests are assessed against applicable retention needs. Uninstalling does not automatically delete server records. Never email your installation key or password.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent by email. You may complain to a competent data protection authority, such as the UK ICO or Türkiye’s KVKK. Updated 18 September 2026.

You can request information, correction or deletion of your personal data at ciancodee@gmail.com. Rights under applicable law remain available; we may need to verify your identity depending on the request. There is no app account to delete. We cannot recover closed notebooks or deleted conversations.
